Imagine waking up to your favorite song from Spotify! Well, that’s possible with the help of music alarms in Google Home. For that, first, you need to set a default music provider in the Google Home app. You can set Spotify, YouTube Music, etc. as your default music provider. You cannot directly change the alarm tone on your Google Home, Mini, or Nest.
So when the alarm starts ringing, just say stop. As of the last few weeks I have entirely missed my alarms that I set on my home/ nest mini device. Typically after a night or two of missing alarms I'd change the tone, but I literally cannot find any information whatsoever on how to do it. The media alarm plays back at the volume of media.
